1. Introduction

Welcome to the improved Blast Golf solution that offers new value-added features with new app designed built for golf resulting in an improved user experience. Empowering players to train around a more consistent tempo for any clubs and any shot type. Simplify messaging and introduce training concepts around Speed Control, Direction and Distance. Now supporting all clubs and all shot types from Short Game, Bunker and Full Swings.

1.3 Charging Blast Sensor

How to charge your sensor

  1. Take the sensor and charger out of the package.
  2. Connect the wireless charger to the micro-USB cable.
  3. Plug the USB cable into a USB outlet.
  4. Place the sensor in the centre of the wireless charger where the logo is located with the logo facing up on the sensor.
  5. It takes 60 minutes to fully charge the sensor.

The sensor battery can last for seven days on standby, but battery life differs based on usage.

1.3.1 LED Indicator light on the charger

The indicator light of the charger show the charging status of the sensor before connecting the sensor to the app.

LED colours:

  1. Red LED – The charger is not active (the sensor is not on the charger or the sensor is fully charged)
  2. Blue LED – The sensor is charging.
  3. Green LED – The sensor is completely charged. Green light will change to the red LED after the charging sequence has stopped.

1.4 Downloading Blast Golf

To find and install Blast Golf for iOS

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open App Store.
  2. Tap the Search icon.
  3. Enter Blast Golf in the search results to go to the app page.
  4. Select Blast Golf in the search results to go to the app page.
  5. Follow the standard installation procedure for iOS.

To find and install Blast Golf for Android

  1. On your Android phone open the Play Store.
  2. Tap the Search icon.
  3. Enter Blast Golf in the search results to go to the app page.
  4. Select Blast Golf in the search results to go to the app page.
  5. Follow the standard installation procedure for Android.

Must be downloaded on Wi-Fi connection.

1.5 Installing Sensor

It is important that you install and remove the Blast sensor correctly.

How to place your sensor into the attachment and then onto your Club

  1. The first step is to place attachment on the end of the grip, making sure it is flush to the grip. To help ensure the attachment slides on with ease, moisten the inside of the attachment.
  2. Take the other side of the attachment and turn it inside out.
  3. Making sure the clubface is square, place the sensor in the open end of the attachment with blast man facing up, going down the centre of the shaft.
  4. Roll the edges of the attachment over to secure the sensor.

1.6 About the Sensor

The Blast precision motion sensor is extremely intelligent. The sensor will start to work after the activation is completed in the app. When the sensor is active it will flash. The sensor can be placed into the attachment and place on the bat knob.

Turning sensor on or off

The sensor doesn’t have an On/Off switch. The sensor automatically conserves power when it is not in use.

  • Standby Mode – occurs when the sensor is motionless for 30 seconds. The LED will start blinking again with a light touch.
  • Sleep Mode – occurs when the sensor is motionless for over one minute.
  • On Mode – to wake the sensor, hold the club with the sensor pointing to the ground for two seconds, and then point the sensor towards the sky. The LED will then resume blinking.

The sensor displays different colors to communicate different messages.

  • Green LED – The sensor is awake, charged and ready to capture a metric.
  • Red LED – The sensor battery is low and should be charged.
  • No LED – When sensor stops blinking it is in a standby mode or sleep mod

1.6.1 Sensor Modes

The highly accurate advanced 3D motion capture sensor works in three different modes while it captures, analyses and displays your actions.

  1. Offline Mode – The sensor has the intelligence to work without the app. Blast Sensor will remember the last connected putter. The Sensor will retain all your actions until connected back to your app to upload your metrics.
  2. Online Mode – The sensor is connected to the app and the metrics are displayed in real-time.
  3. Video Mode – Using the Smart Video Capture feature allows you to record your action and create the video of your highlighted actions which are stored in the app.

2. Creating an Account

Once the Blast Golf app is downloaded it opens the login screen. The available options of logging into the app or creating a new account are shown on the page.

Create Blast Golf Account

  1. Open the Blast Golf
  2. Tap on “Create New Account” button
  3. Select on “I’M A PLAYER, Parent or ATHLETE” or “I’M A COACH or ACADEMY OWNER” by tapping on the options.
  4. Select on the following options by tapping on the name:
  • Hdcp 21 and above
  • Hdcp 16-20
  • Hdcp 11-15
  • Hdcp 6 – 10
  • Hdcp 0-5
  • Hdcp +1-+5
  • Tour Player
  • Other
  1. Fill in the create account info of Full Name, E-Mail, Confirm E-mail, and Password. To proceed to next screen, select on “Create Account” button.
  • Password must be 8 characters long and include characters and a number.
  1. The welcome screen displays three options for completing the registration process.
  • Basic Details
  • Register Sensor
  • Add Club

If you don’t want to complete the registration, hit the skip option on the top right of the screen. This process will need to be completed later to use the sensor.

  1. Select on the Basic Details option. You will fill out basic user information on this screen.
  • Add picture (Tap on the Camera icon)
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Birth Date
  • Gender
  • Post Code
  • Gender
  • Right/Left Handed

Once the information is entered select on the save option. The screen will continue back to the welcome screen.

  1. Coaching Details (Coach only) Fill out basic coaching details by tapping on lines to view answer options or to fill out form options.

  1. A checkmark will be displayed next to Basic Details on the welcome screen. Select on Register Sensor option. Scan the sensor using the screen circle to focus on the serial bar on the back of the sensor. If not able to scan, continue to bottom of the screen to type in the Serial (Top & Bottom) number on the back of the sensor. Hit done when this is completed.
  1. Face the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast logo towards the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is activated. When completed, a Sensor Connected message will appear.
  2. A checkmark will be displayed next to Basic Details and Register Sensor. Select on the welcome screen. Select on Add Club or Add a set of Clubs option. Select on Add a Club to Fill in the following information:
  • Brand
  • Model
  • Nickname
  • Length
  • Weight

Once the information is completed tap on the “Add New Club” button. When you select on Add a Set of Club, here are list of clubs to be built:

  • Putter
  • Diver
  • 1 Iron
  • 2 Iron
  • 3 Iron
  • 4 Iron
  • 5 Iron
  • 6 Iron
  • 7 Iron
  • 8 Iron
  • 9 Iron
  • Pitching Wedge
  • Gap Wedge
  • Sand Wedge
  • Lob Wedge

Tap on green checkmarks to remove any clubs. Once the information is completed tap on the “Add 15 Club” button.

  1. Tap on the “Get Started” button to start.

2.1 Register Sensor

Select on register sensor option. Scan the sensor using the screen circle to focus on the serial bar on the back of the sensor. If not able to scan, continue to the bottom of the screen to type in the Serial (Top & Bottom) number on the back of the sensor. Hit done when this is completed.

Face the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast logo towards the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is activated. When completed, a Sensor Connected message will appear.

2.2 Connect Sensor

Once the Blast Golf App is opened, you should be able to shake the sensor and it should connect. Sometimes that doesn’t happen. The alternative way of connecting is a manual connection.

How do you connect a sensor (Analyse, Training, Live, & Swings Screen)

  1. Tap on the circle with dash lines in the middle. This can be found on the top right.
  2. Shake sensor until connected.

Circle will show green when connected with the battery level in the middle.

How to connect a sensor from my sensor

  1. Tap on the menu.
  2. Tap on My Sensors.
  3. Tap on the sensor line item.
  4. Shake sensor until connected.

The circle will show black with a green small circle will show when connected with battery level showing in the middle line item.

2.3 Bluetooth

To use the sensor with the Blast Golf App the Bluetooth must be turned on. This is the only step that would be completed outside of the app. 

Turn Bluetooth on for iOS

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Setting.
  2. Tap on Bluetooth.
  3. Flip the On/Off button to toggle on so it shows green.
  4. Close out of Setting.
  5. Check the top of your home screen for the Bluetooth icon. This indicates that Bluetooth is active.

Turn Bluetooth on for Android

  1. On your Android, tap the menu button and select Systems settings.
  2. Locate the Bluetooth symbol on the setting screen.
  3. Change the Setting to “On”. Do so by clicking to the right of “Off.”
  4. Close out of Bluetooth.
  5. Check the top of your home screen for the Bluetooth icon. This indicates that Bluetooth is active.

Please note that the sensor only connects in the app only. The sensor will not connect in the Bluetooth setting.

3. App Overview

3.1 Menu

The menu is displayed by hitting the menu button.  It contains various categories from User Profile, My Sensor, My Clubs, Inbox, My Players (Coach profile only), Team Reports, Settings, Help & Tips and Logout.

3.1.1 User Profile

User Profile (Circle Profile picture)
The user profile is a feature that allows the player or coach to update Bio, Coach (Coach only), Account, and Blast Connect.

Bio
The Bio contains options to add a photo and update your profile information of First Name, Last Name, handedness, Level of Play, Birth Date, Gender, Heights, Weight, Phone Number, and Zip Code.

How to update Bio

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the User Profile.
  3. The page opens to the Bio tab.
  4. Select on the lines you want to edit and type the corresponding information.
  5. The information automatically updates once entered.

How to add Bio picture

  1. Tap on the Menu from Analyze, Training, Live, or Swing screen.
  2. Tap on the User Profile.
  3. The page opens to the Bio tab.
  4. Tap on the camera icon to open the camera roll.
  5. Tap on the selected picture to complete.

How to update Bio picture

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the User Profile.
  3. The page opens to the Bio tab.
  4. Tap on the camera icon to open the camera roll.
  5. Tap on the selected picture to complete.

Coach
The coach tab contains the coaching options of Services Provided, Training Address, Phone Number, Email Address, and Accepts New Students.

How to update Account

  1. Tap on the Menu from home.
  2. Tap on the User Profile.
  3. Select on the Coach tab.
  4. Select on the lines you want to edit and type the corresponding information.
  5. The information automatically updates once entered.

Account
The Account contains options to view E-mail (Username) and Password. Update options to add the Phone number and Post Code.

How to create a Blast Connect Account (Coach)

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the User Profile (Player or Coach).
  3. Tap on the Account tab.
  4. On the account line tap on Upgrade.
  5. Tap on “Learn more”.
  6. Prefer to sign up as a coach and start your own Academy, Tap on Upgrade.
  7. Fill in Academy Information and account information.
  8. Under Owner’s Information tap on Already have a Blast Account or Don’t have a Blast Account?
  9. If you selected: Already have a Blast Account – Log in with Email & Password, tap on Terms of Service and Tap on Login to Continue.
  10. If you selected: Don’t have a Blast Account – Fill in and create a user profile, tap on Terms of Service and Tap on Create account.
  11. Tap on “Sign up £price/YR” button.
  12. Enter credit card info and tap the “Purchase” button.

How to create a Blast Connect Account (Player)

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the User Profile (Player or Coach).
  3. Tap on the Account tab.
  4. On the account line tap on Upgrade.
  5. Tap on “Learn more”.
  6. Prefer to sign up as a player, Tap on Upgrade.
  7. Fill in player information.
  8. Under Owner’s Information tap on Already have a Blast Account or Don’t have a Blast Account?
  9. If you selected: Already have a Blast Account – Log in with Email & Password, tap on Terms of Service and Tap on Login to Continue.
  10. If you selected: Don’t have a Blast Account – Fill in and create a user profile, tap on Terms of Service and Tap on Create account.
  11. Tap on “Sign up £Price per year or £Price per month button.
  12. Enter credit card info and tap the “Purchase” button.

Blast Connect

The Blast Connect is a stand-alone tool that provides insights and empowers your daily drive to get better. If a subscription has been purchased for this service, the user can log in here.

How to sign in to Blast Connect

  1. Tap on the Menu from Analyze, Training, Live, or Swing screen.
  2. Tap on the User Profile.
  3. Select on the Blast Connect tab.
  4. Select on the E-mail and Password line to add the corresponding information.
  5. Tap on the “Log in” button to process the information.

If you don’t have a Blast Connect Account, tap on the Learn More.

3.1.2 My Sensors

The Sensor shows the available option to view current sensors and to add a new sensor. The sensor detail has options to reset sensor, clear and reset sensor, disconnect, and delete sensor.

How to connect the sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Sensors.
  3. Select on the listed sensor.
  4. Shake the sensor by facing the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast logo towards the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is connected.
  5. The listed sensor will now show connected in the list.

How to add a sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the Sensors
  3. Select on the Plus sign icon on the bottom right of the screen.
  4. Scan the sensor using the screen circle to focus on the serial bar on the back of the sensor. If not able to scan continue to the bottom of the screen to type in the Serial (top & bottom) number on the back of the sensor. Once complete hit done.
  5. Face the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast logo towards the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is activated.
  6. When completed, the “Sensor Connected” message will appear.

How to reset the sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on Sensor.
  3. Select on Sensor.
  4. Tap on the Sensor to reset.
  5. Scroll to the bottom to select the reset (Reset Sensor or Clear and Reset Sensor) button.

How to delete a sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Sensor.
  3. Tap on the Sensor line.
  4. Scroll down in the Sensor Details.
  5. Tap on Delete Sensor.

How to Disconnect sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Sensor.
  3. Tap on the Sensor line.
  4. Scroll down in the Sensor Details.
  5. Tap on Disconnect Sensor.

How to update Firmware

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Sensor.
  3. Tap on the Sensor line.
  4. Scroll down in the Sensor Details to Firmware Version.
  5. Tap on Upgrade.

Upgrade option will show when available.

How to name sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Sensor.
  3. Tap on the Sensor line.
  4. Tap on the Nickname line to pull up the keyboard.
  5. Type a new name for the sensor and tap on Done.

3.1.3 My Clubs

The user creates a list of clubs for the sensor. To ensure the most accurate metric information is utilised, the My Clubs section includes detailed information for each club. Necessary information is needed to ensure accurate metrics information. It is particularly important to ensure the Length of the user’s clubs are entered accurately to produce optimal metric data.

Create up to thirty active clubs.

How to add a clubs

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Clubs.
  3. Select on the Plus sign icon on the bottom right of the screen.
  4. Tap on Add a Club.
    • Not all bats are in the system. Please select the club that is closest to your club. The name of your club can be added in the Nickname field.
  5. Tap on the corresponding lines to input the Club Type, Brand, model, Nickname, Length, and handedness for each Club. Once the input line is touched a list of options will be available at the bottom of the page.
  6. When complete, hit the “Add New Club” button.

How to add a Set of Clubs

  1. From the Home screen, tap on the Menu.
  2. Tap on the My Clubs.
  3. Select on the Plus sign icon on the bottom right of the screen.
  4. Tap on Add a Set of Clubs.
  5. Fifteen clubs will be selected. Tap on the checkmarks to remove unwanted clubs.
  6. When complete, hit the “Add New Club” button.

How to switch Clubs

  1. Tap on the Menu from the home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Clubs.
  3. Tap on the club line to switch clubs.

Green Dot (Active) will show when change is complete.

How to edit club information

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the My Clubs.
  3. Select on the My Clubs.
  4. Tap on the line to edit.
  5. Tap on done once completed.

The nickname line is the only line that can be updated.
 
How to delete Club

  1. Tap on the Menu from the club screen.
  2. Tap on the My Clubs.
  3. Select on Club to delete.
  4. Tap on the “Remove Club” button at the bottom of the screen.

3.1.4 Inbox

The notification messages of the app can be found in the inbox. The inbox will show the cloud sync, available swings ready to download and software updates available.

How do I know there is a message available

  1. The menu icon will show a grey circle.
  2. The Inbox will show a blue circle.

How to upload offline swings

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on Inbox.
  3. Tap on Offline Swings Ready
  4. Select on your bat. Tap on the “Next” button on the Download Swings screen.
  5. The selected bat will continue to show selected. Tap on the “Download Swings” button.
  6. The swings will start to download.

3.1.5 My Players

My players section shows the list of active and invited players of the academy. The feature will show available for Coach subscriptions. Coaches can switch between players, equipment, and sensors. Also, invite new players to your academy.

How to select a player

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on My Players.
  3. Tap on the Player tab.
  4. Select on the circle on the Profile name.

How to select an Equipment

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on My Players.
  3. Tap on the Equipment tab.
  4. Select on the circle on the Club name.

How to select a Sensors

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on My Players.
  3. Tap on the Sensors tab.
  4. Tap on user sensor.

How to add a Club

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on Players.
  3. Tap on Equipment.
  4. Select on the Plus sign icon.
  5. Tap on the corresponding lines to input the Club Type, Brand, model, Nickname, Length, and handedness for each Club. Once the input line is touched a list of options will be available at the bottom of the page.
  6. When complete, hit the “Add New Club” button.

How to invite a player to the academy (from the app)

  1. Tap on the Menu from Analyze, Training, Live, or Swing screen.
  2. Tap on My Players.
  3. Tap on the Plus Sign.
  4. Fill in First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Password, Level of Play, and Club Setup.
  5. Tap on Add Player.

To complete the invite, the player must accept the invite email to Blast Connect. The player must make sure to sign into the Blast Golf app with Blast Connect log-in. Make sure the level of play is set and a Club is created.

3.1.6 Team Report

The Team Report is your launching point for analyzing your players’ metrics.

  • Reveal “All Metrics” if you want to check out specific Blast Metrics by Team or Roster.
  • See high-level reports of all your players or by Roster.
  • Drill into a player’s individual performance by clicking on a player.

How to view Team Reports

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on Team Report.

Requires a Blast Connect Subscription and data connection.

3.1.7 Settings

The Settings provides important options for making application changes from Auto Upload Settings, Swing History, Recording Settings, Ball Flight Settings, Metrics Settings, Share Settings, Smart Feedback Settings, Event Marker Settings and Default Video Player.

Auto Upload Settings

The upload settings control the video by automatically uploading videos to Blast Connect.  Upload settings also auto uploads when not connected to a Wi-Fi network, uploading files of any size or only those smaller than 50MB.

How to change Auto Video Upload

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Auto Video Update.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

How to Use Cellular Data

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Use Cellular Data.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

Swing History

Select how many swings you want to store locally on your device. Please note that all swings are saved to the Blast Cloud. As a coach, the setting applies per player.

How to change Swing History

  1. Tap on the Menu from Analyze, Training, Live, or Swing screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Swings History and tap on the line.
  4. Tap on the line options of 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 swings.

Blast Connect subscription required for 5,000 & 10,000 swings.

Record Settings

Change the recording options for Video & Slo-Mo.

How to change Record Video

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Tap on record options.

Record Video

The record option:

  • 720p HD at 30 fps
  • 1080p HD at 30 fps
  • 4K HD at 30 fps
  • 1080p HD at 60 fps 

A minute of video will be approximately:
*60 MB with 720p HD at 30 fps (space saver)
*130 MB with 1080p HD at 30 fps (default)
*350 MB with 4k HD at 30 fps (higher resolution)
*175 MB with 1080p HD at 60 fps (smoother)

Record Slo-Mo

The record Slo-Mo options:

  • 720p HD at 120 fps
  • 1080p HD at 120 fps
  • 720p HD at 240 fps

A minute of video will be approximately:
*230 MB with 720p HD at 120 fps
*350 MB with 1080p HD at 120 fps
*300 MB with 720 HD at 240 fps
 
Save Original Video

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Record Settings.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

Save the full-length video recording for all Smart Video Captures.

Share Settings

The shared player and equipment are used when sharing a video.

How to change Action Details

  1. Tap on the Menu from Analyze, Training, Live, or Swing screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Action Details.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

Smart Feedback Setting

The smart feedback setting is the voice feature options of the app.

How to update Smart Feedback

  1. Tap on the Menu from Home screen.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Locate the Smart Feedback.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

How to update Action Chime

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Locate the Action Chime.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

Display Settings

How to show Light Mode during Capture

  1. On the Home screen, tap on the Menu.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Display Setting.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left until it shows clear.

Event Marker Setting

Event marker used in Analysis tool.

How to add Customize Markers

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Customize Markers and tap on the line.
  4. Tap on the plus sign.
  5. Type the name of the custom marker in the open field.
  6. Tap Add.

How to move Customize Markers

  1. Tap on the Menu from the Home screen.
  2. Tap on Setting.
  3. Locate the desired metrics.
  4. Hold down on the menu button to right of each metric to move up and down.
  5. Release hold once in the desired order.

How to delete Customize Markers.

  1. Tap on the Menu from Home screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Customize Markers and tap on the line.
  4. Tap on Check Mark.
  5. Tap on selected Event Marker.
  6. Tap on the Bin icon to delete.

Progress Goal

Provides the option to turn the goals feature on or off.

How to update Show Goals

  1. On the Progress screen tap on the Menu.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Show Goals.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

Metric Settings

Provides the option to control the order of the metric and metric view options.

How to update Show Goals

  1. Tap on the Menu from Analyze, Training, Live, or Swing screen.
  2. Tap on the Settings.
  3. Locate the Show Goals.
  4. To activate this feature, swipe the button towards the right to show green.
  5. To deactivate this feature, swipe towards the left and to show clear.

How to update the Dashboard Setup

How to connect the sensor

  1. Tap on the Menu from home screen.

  4. Shake the sensor by facing the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast logo toward the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is connected.
  5. The listed sensor will now show connected in the list.

  2. Tap on the club name on the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on new club.

The active club will show a green dot and read “Active.”

How to add new club

  1. On the Home screen, tap on Just Putt.
  2. Tap on the club name on the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on plus sign.
  4. Tap on Add a Club.
  5. Tap on the corresponding lines to input the Club Type, Brand, Model, Nickname, Length, and handedness for each Club. Touch the corresponding input line to reveal a list of options at the bottom of the page.
  6. When complete, hit the “Add New Club” Button. Not all clubs are in the system. Please select the club that is closest to you club. The name of your club can be added in the Nickname Field.

How to change metric layout

  1. On the Home screen, tap on Just Putt.
  2. Tap on the Metric Layout.
  3. Select on the available layout option by tapping on the open circle.

The Layout option of Getting Started, Tempo Training, Direction, Speed Control and Direction are set layout. The Metric Order cannot be changed for these layouts.

How to change metric order

  1. On the Home screen, tap on Just Putt.
  2. Tap on the Metric Layout.
  3. Tap on the Metric Order.
  4. Locate the desired metrics.
  5. Hold down on the menu button to right of each metric to move up and down.
  6. Release hold once in the desired order.

Metric Order can only be used on custom layouts (Circle Graph, 4 Up, and 6 Up).

How to view putts

  1. On the Home screen, tap on Just Putt.
  2. Tap on number of swings on the top centre.
  3. Current day’s swings will appear on the Swings page.

How to start session

Opening Just Putt automatically opens a session. To start another session, tap on session on top right.

  5. Tap on the corresponding lines to input the club Type, Brand, Model, Nickname, Length, and handedness for each Club. Once the input line is tapped, a list of options is displayed at the bottom of the page.
  6. When complete, hit the “Add New Club” Button. Not all clubs are in the system. Please select the club that is closest to your club. The name of your club can be added in the Nickname Field.

How to change metric layout

  1. On the Home screen, tap on Just Swing.
  2. Tap on the Metric Layout.
  3. Select on the available layout option by tapping on the open circle.

The Layout option of Getting Started, Tempo Training, and Ball Striking Training are set layout. The Metric Order cannot be changed for these layouts.

  4. Locate the desired metrics.
  5. Hold down on the menu button to right of each metric to move up and down.

  4. Shake the sensor by facing the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast logo toward the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is connected.
  5. The listed sensor will now show connected in the list.

Shortcut: On the home screen tap on the circle with the plus sign in the middle. Shake the sensor to connect. Once connected the battery level will show on the circle.

The app stores all uploaded video and app taken video in the view videos. The videos are viewed by the video source option and filter options. Video analysis provides an additional option to aid in evaluating players and team performance with a Blast connect subscription. Markup video with metric overlay records voice feedback and compares two swings. The Event Markers enable you to quickly return to specific points in the video. You can even record a non-blast video, quickly access the analyze tool, and save it in your video library.

How to open and play videos

  1. On the Home screen, tap on View Video.
  2. Locate and tap on Video.
  3. Tap on Play.

The video analysis helps to evaluate player and team performance with a Blast Connect subscription. Analyze your swing with video analysis tools. How to take a video without sensor

  1. On the Analysis screen, tap on the Camera.
  2. Tap on the record button.
  3. Tap on the red record button to stop.

  5. Tap on Thumbnail to open Video Analysis in Smart Video Capture

Go to View Videos to view video after closing out of Smart Video Capture.

  4. Tap on Thumbnail of video on bottom of the screen.

  2. The icon will change to red to indicate recording is in progress.
