Share
MyGolfSpy’s 2025 Golf Ball Test, presented by UNRL, is an extensive and highly rigorous assessment of 44 golf ball models across diverse swing speeds using robotic testing in scorching conditions in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here are the standout performers in each swing speed category:

Longest at High Swing Speed: Bridgestone TOUR B X
Among high-speed swingers, robots averaged 116 mph swing speed with driver, delivering 166 mph ball speed and approximately 319 yd total distance.

Longest at Mid Swing Speed: Srixon Z-STAR XV
At mid swing speed (102 mph), the leading distance performer with the driver was the Maxfli Tour X, just ahead of Srixon Z-STAR XV and Callaway Chrome Tour X.

Longest at Low Swing Speed: Callaway Supersoft
Under the slow swing speed conditions (approx. 86 mph with driver), the longest ball was Callaway Chrome Tour Triple Diamond, with the Callaway Supersoft not far behind.
Why These Balls Excel
Bridgestone TOUR B X – A premium, high-compression urethane ball, optimized for speed and distance with powerful trajectories at high swing speeds.
Srixon Z-STAR XV – Another tour-caliber, high-compression option that balances distance and responsiveness for mid-speed players.
Callaway Supersoft – A low-compression, affordable ionomer model that surprises with distance at lower swing speeds without sacrificing too much on feel.
